(I Saw U) How to do Horror in RPG's [PAX 2011]

edited August 2011 in Story Games
Dear Anonymous,

You: in room 302?, a workshop with something like the subject line.

Me: it certainly didn't look like I was going to starve to death, but if I didn't get to Gourmet Dog Japon in the next 10 minutes I was going to die.

Why weren't you on the schedule? Can you do horror in GMless RPG's?

When: Saturday, August 27, 2011

Where: Convention Center

I saw a: Workshop

I am a: Man

Just checked with the peerless PAX Enforcers:
It was "Depicting Horror in RPGs" by A. Scott Glancy, who wrote the Delta Green module for Call of Cthulhu.

    The hunt begins.
  • Slashed to Ribbons anyone?

I picked up a copy of a game called The Infected that I'd like to try running. It sort of has a GM who controls monster NPCs, but it uses scene framing and players can introduce NPCs, and the players can turn into monsters that they control. I got it from Jackson at Cozy-Con, and he was getting rid of it because he didn't like it for some reason, so I'll see how well it works.
  • If you're looking for that kind of game, check out Geiger Counter / Alpha

    [hey! download link broken! Jonathan!!!]
