Here is the forum link for NC Gameday. Anybody interested in going/participating? The first games being talked about are Danger Patrol and Dresden Files.
Yep I'm going, since that's me over there talking about running Danger Patrol and Dresden Files. The former is quite likely, the latter is iffy unless I can slow/warp the time/space continuum enough to bust out my Origins game in time for NCGD. These regional mini-cons organized on ENWorld will surprise you in how great the laid-back crowd vibe is and for the high-energy gaming you get across the non-trad to trad spectrum -- we just finished up one here in DC, where I ran Danger Patrol (beta) which turned out to be even more of a blast than I expected, and I can't wait to run it again.
I've become a bit of an NCGD regular, so shall be there.
If I could draw enough attention for Diaspora from some players willing to do some pre-con generation, I'd consider that. Otherwise, I'll probably run my more traditional style *craft games (Spycraft and Fantasy Craft).
I was there at the very first NCGD, and went to every one I could back when I actually lived in North Carolina for more than maybe a month out of the year. It's great to see so much enthusiasm for it outside of the regular ENWorld crowd. Have fun ya'll!
I'm tentatively planning to attend, running... something. Anyone want to suggest something? Contenders DITV IAWA Dread: TFBOP Dread (Jenga) Fiasco (assuming I can get my copy by then--and even if not, if someone can let me borrow the Tilt and Aftermath tables from theirs) Mechaton/Mage Knight/Hero Clix (facilitating more than running, with figs or Legos for all). Any of a number of Looney Labs games, Euro board games, etc.
I'd have to use a pre-production draft of Spite, as that's all I have. And I don't really have it grokked (as such) as I do DTFBOP. But I think I could prep up a DTFBOP game, and it would be cool in that it's the first game I ever played at an NC Game Day (IIRC).
Thanks, Jason. I'll MOST LIKELY have my own copy by then, but it's good to have backup. I want to do the Rock Band one, acktchully.
Posted By: David ArtmanOK, I'll do Fiasco and DTFBOP Saturday (not sure what order--Andy, having spoken up, do you have a preference?). Any other sessions, I play. :P
Well, I'd prefer it if you ran Fiasco in the PM session, as I'm doing Danger Patrol in the AM. Because I am a selfish bastard, and I want to play Fiasco is why.
Only two sessions on Sat? I though it was three (9, 2, 6). But I can slot Fiasco for 6 (evening). I'd probably do better with DTFBOP early, as it's less freeform, on-now, and has some prep to guide me through initial bleariness.
It's only two sessions each day, over the two days. The times are still being discussed, but it's typically two 4-to-5 hour sessions, with a 1-to-1.5 hour lunch -- and everything is slightly shortened on Sunday. So, you're likely looking at 930 to 100, and 330 to 800 on Saturday, and 9-1, 2-6 on Sunday
Please follow this link to the forum. Once there (you'll need to be a member of ENWorld), post a new thread with the title of your game and the time period you want it in (Saturday AM, Saturday PM, Sunday AM, Sunday PM). In the first post, describe the game and list how many seats you have and any alternates you want.
Mark, could you make two slots for me? Saturday morning - Dread: TFBOP ("The Festival of Doom!") Saturday afternoon - Fiasco (playset TBD by players at the table)

Is this because you can't get the site to work, or that you think I set these up? Don't read anger or anything like that into my question, it's just so easy to get an account and start the threads that I'm not sure why you're asking me to do so for you (and I don't want people thinking I'm running the games).
Posted By: David ArtmanTHERE, dammit--took me a fucking half hour (but I had to write blurbs, so...). I HOPE that you are satisfied. :P
It would have taken that long for me to get the blurbs from you AND write a decent paragraph explaining who was running it and why he wouldn't get an account on the site hosting the games, so uhm yeah I'm happy.
David, there are always last-minute registrations and walk-ins -- these Gamedays typically operate on the serendipity principle. There are, however, also sometimes games that no one registers for, or that don't get enough people to warrant a session... it happens, but not all that often.
Patience is typically the key thing to remember here, and faith that it will all work out. Don't ask me how -- it's a mystery.
In re: games not posted on the thread, drop a PM to Rel on the site, in addition to the post you've left there, just in case. It's certainly not a slight -- Rel's moderation duties on ENW (plus his day-job) keep him pretty busy, so he might not have seen it.

I'll just trust that I can get at least 3 folks each session (HAVE to be for Fiasco, and Dread breaks down into teams of 3 well).
